Each new day invariably starts with coffee and sunlight. On the days when I’m home–or when I don’t have to rush–I head out to my makeshift deck, choose my morning mug from my collection and sip away as I morph from zombie to (semi) stuntman. This is my me time, when I make a mental to-do list and come to terms with the demands of the day.

It’s a routine–make that a habit–that makes me appreciate where I am and the possibilities of each new day.
