In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Afloat.”
There’s a growing number of motocross enthusiasts hereabouts. They who fly and float on adrenaline. They who don’t mind the dust and the (occasional) broken bones. On competition days, they turn the otherwise arid racetrack near the City Hall Complex into a graceful display of daredevil stunts amid swirling dust and deafening roars.
Sorsogon City has undoubtedly one of the best racetracks in the region. Little wonder, then, that motocross championships are often held here. And it is then that we riders–and racetrack dust–flying and floating. Motorcycle races may be noisy and not for the faint of heart (and asthmatic), but there’s a certain thrill in watching rides and riders fly, if only for a split second.
